Driving Instructor training in Merton
Parkway driving school offer driving instuctor training with our Grade A driving instructor TRAINER.
He has undergone intensive training to get to an Ordit qualification to train driving instructors. And has 35+ years of training experiance
To become driving instructor training an excellent driving instructor you will need to learn from an excellent instructor.
WHATS REQUIRED TO START THE TRAINING PROCESS:
1, Have you held a full driving licence for at least 3 years
2, Can you read a licence plate from 90 feet (27.5m) Glasses and contact lenses are ok
3, Do you have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
4 Are you happy to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and baring service) governmnet check, formally known as a CRB check
Once you have completed the above and you are eligible to become an instructor. You will need to make an application on the government website (Apply to become a driving instructor).
When your application has been processed ad you receive your PRN you can start your training.
THE TRAINING
1, Study and take your theory test (ADI part 1)
2, Take the driving ability test ADI part 2). This is a driving test which involves
- AN EYESIGHT TEST
- SHOW ME TELL ME VEHICLE SAFETY QUESTIONS
- GENERAL DRIVING ABILITY
- MANOEUVRES
- INDEPENDENT DRIVING
the test is 1 hour long
3, Get practise teaching
4, Take the instructional ability test (ADI part 3)
5, Register and start working as an instructor
